Where to start?
So little
Bad news: I've been stuck in bed for over a week because of the flu. I felt so weak, so lifeless, laying in bed not wanting to do anything at all. The idea of getting up left me feeling drained.
Good news: I'm feeling a lot better than before. I'm still taking medicine but I am bouncing back and feeling better each day. I just need to get rid of this blasted cough, which is so annoying!
Lots
- I joined a brand new gym
Good news: £4.99 ($7.82) a month for the first 3 months rising to £14.99 a month afterwards with no fixed contract. That's a pretty good membership fee because if it's rubbish then I don't feel like I've wasted much money.
- Giveaway
Good news: I managed to get some freebies from the wonderful people at Dorset Cereals, so I can do a huge giveaway. More to come soon!!
Bad news: It's going to be for residents of the United Kingdom only due to the size and quantity.
- From my 101 to do list, cross off #49 - Visit The Giants Causeway, Northern Ireland
Good news: I got to visit two countries I've never been to before - Ireland as well as Northern Ireland. Despite only an hours flight away, it's taken me 30 years to visit these two countries and I can't wait to go back! It was great eating Irish stew in Ireland. I poured the perfect pint in the Guinness Factory in Dublin. I went to County Antrim and crossed the 'Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and survived! I also went to the Giants Causeway, which is an area of about 40,000 interlocking hexagonal basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic eruption.
Bad news: I wasn't there long enough! I'd love to visit more of Ireland. The food was delicious, the people were really nice and friendly...even a local drug addict was really welcoming and chatty! In London the drug addicts ask for money and you have to watch out they don't steal your wallet. Not in Ireland though. The total opposite! They told me to look after myself and at one point they were even showing me contents inside their own wallets. Fair enough it was only a before and after picture - the result of the drugs they took, but that's beside the point. They are lovely people!
Here are a few pictures:
How about you? What good news and bad news do you have to share?

ReplyDeleteHey Tim. I know it's been forever since I've stopped by. Sorry about that. Sorry you're sick but happy you're getting better. Yeah about the gym, you'll just have to get out and move when you're up to it and get ready to join and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteJim, my hubby, loves Ireland...someday maybe but I think our fight ... If I can get over the flying fear ... is something like 18 hours. Never know though.
Take care Tim. Blessings!
Good to see a blog post after a while Tim! Hope you've completely recovered by now. Is there maybe some exercise equipment that you can buy to do some workouts at home? I guess it's too cold to go running outside at the moment, right?
ReplyDeleteGet better soon, Timmons!
